December has been packed with exciting product updates to streamline your workflows and enhance your practice’s efficiency. At Oryx, we introduce new features and improve existing ones every month–and December is no exception!
What’s new this month in Oryx:
1. Custom Informed Consent Forms
Users can now add custom informed consent forms and tag them with procedure codes. These forms can be uploaded as PDFs prepared by the office or created directly within the Oryx system using available variables. Custom forms are easy to share with patients via MyChart for signature. They can also be edited by modifying the variables in a custom-created form or by replacing an uploaded form with a new version.
2. Diastema Condition Tracking
In Oryx’s clinical exam section, users can now add a diastema condition to any tooth they select, and it will automatically display on the odontogram.
3. Internal Provider Codes
Users can now add initials or a custom code next to a provider’s name in the dropdown menu. This code will appear across all provider drop-downs, streamlining scheduling, treatment planning, claim submissions, and note-taking.
4. Elevated Appointment Status Customization
Users can now personalize appointment statuses by customizing colors, resetting them to system defaults individually or all at once, and enabling animations.
